I provide a thorough consultation to understand your vision and requirements, allowing us to create a personalized plan that suits your needs. The consultation is $75/hour in addition to total fee.
Mood Board Creation
My design process begins with a personalized mood board that encapsulates your vision. This visual tool combines color palettes, textures, and inspirational images, helping to unify your design direction. I consider this portion of the design process as “Phase I” along with the demolition with the general contractor. We also pick flooring, countertops, paint colors, hardware, cabinetry and other materials during this time.
General Contractor Involvement
J. LeRae Designs has developed a partnership with an experienced local general contractor who ensures that every aspect of your project is executed to the highest standards. Their expertise guarantees that your remodel runs smoothly and efficiently. They will work to facilitate subcontractors and utilize local business for resources. They use Job Tread to keep you in the loop of where each of your dollars are spent and a direct timeline you can view at any time.
Personal Shopping Assistance
I offer personalized shopping services, helping you select the right items for your remodel. I provide curated links for must-order products, making it easy to bring your vision to life. I consider this portion of the design process as “Phase II” where decisions are made regarding the furniture and decor.
Staging Services
To enhance the aesthetics and functionality of your space, we include staging services that make your remodeled area feel inviting and complete.
Revisions
We value your satisfaction and provide 2 revisions throughout the design process, ensuring that every detail aligns with your expectations. Unlimited can be made with me in the mood board process, but once contractor estimate is complete; revisions cannot be accepted.

LeRae Designs pricing is adjusted based on the extent of the remodel project, $2,000+ is expected design time, roughly 10% total contractor pricing estimate. A $500 deposit is due for J.
